Qualifications

• Capacity to work well with physicians and other care providers as part of a multi-disciplinary healthcare delivery team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the cardiovascular operating room as the primary support for physicians.
• Obtain patient history, perform assessments, order and interpret diagnostic studies.
• Provide direct treatment and management of conditions with prescriptive authority or through referrals.
• Counsel patients and families about health conditions and treatment options.
• Document care in accordance with specialty standards and policy; participate in staff and student education.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
