Responsibilities

• Provides expertise in facilitation and delivery of care for the specified surgical specialty for patient care and staff members.
• Directs and coordinates implementation of patient care activities.
• Serves as a resource to the divisional staff for management of patient care problems and planning care for patients within the specialty service.
• Identifies needs and implements systems/processes to facilitate care and improve administrative processes.
• Collaborates with Division Chair, Executive Director, Lead Physician's Assistant, ACNO, Clinic Nurse Manager, and scheduling coordinators to anticipate needs of future procedures.
• Facilitates smooth execution of cardiac procedures by anticipating and troubleshooting potential problem areas.
