AMN Healthcare is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in New York for an OR-focused role supporting a high-acuity cardiac surgery service line with CVICU duties. The position offers a 4-day workweek, paid call opportunities, Epic EMR, sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.

Candidates should be NCCPA-certified, graduate of an accredited PA program, with CT surgery experience and NY license or eligibility; five years CTS experience preferred.

Qualifications

• NCCPA-certified Physician Assistant.
• Graduate of an accredited PA program.
• Prior Cardiothoracic Surgery PA experience required.
• New York license or eligibility.
• Five years of CTS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support a high-acuity cardiac surgery service line in an OR-focused role.
• Share CVICU responsibilities with dedicated critical care APPs.
• Assist in on-pump, off-pump, hybrid, and MICS CABG procedures.
• Provide thoracic and foregut surgery program support as needed.

Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP) Start Date: ASAP Pay Rate: $165,500.00 - $240,000.00

Join a growing Cardiothoracic Surgery program seeking an experienced Physician Assistant with femoral vein harvesting experience (radial harvesting preferred). This is an OR-focused position supporting a high-acuity cardiac surgery service line with additional CVICU coverage alongside dedicated critical care APPs.

Experience with

• femoral vein harvesting required
• radial harvesting and robotic surgery experience preferred

Compensation & Benefits

• $165,500–$240,000 base salary
