Job summary

AMN Healthcare seeks a Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for locum tenens support in Oregon. The role includes inpatient and clinic care, rounding post-operative patients, and follow-up appointments. Schedule is Mon–Fri, 7:00am–3:30pm, with credentialing in 45–60 days.

Required certifications include Board Certification, First Assist, BLS and ACLS. Oregon licensure is required (client open to licensing).

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient and clinic care for Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic cases.
• Rounding post-operative patients and scheduling follow-ups.
• Clinic visits for ongoing care and post-op management.

This facility is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant(NP) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday – Friday; 7:00am-3:30pm
• Practice Setting: Inpatient & Clinic
• Types of Cases: Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery cases, rounding post operative, and follow up appointments in clinic
• Credentialing Timeframe: 45-60 days
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC
• Certifications Required: Board Certified, First Assist, Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certifications are required
• Licensure Required: Active Oregon license is required (client is willing to license)
