Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for locum tenens coverage in Oregon. The role involves inpatient rounds and clinic follow-ups with cardio-thoracic cases, starting ASAP.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm, with credentialing 45–60 days. EMR: EPIC. Requires board certification, First Assist, BLS, ACLS, and Oregon licensure (or eligibility).

Qualifications

• Board certified in cardiothoracic surgery required.
• First Assist, BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Active Oregon licensure or eligibility for licensure.

Responsibilities

• Perform post-operative rounds and inpatient care for cardiothoracic cases.
• Conduct clinic follow-up appointments and coordinate patient care.
• Support with perioperative management and collaborate with surgical team.

• Types of Cases: Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery cases, rounding post operative, and follow up appointments in clinic

• Certifications Required: Board Certified, First Assist, Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certifications are required
• Licensure Required: Active Oregon license is required (client is willing to license)
