Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA) for locum tenens support in Towson, MD. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8a–6p, with credentialing expected within 45 days. EPIC is the electronic medical record system used.

Start date ASAP, pay rate $106.70–$115.50 per hour. Board-certified candidates with BLS, ACLS, DEA, CSR and Maryland license are preferred for this demanding but rewarding role in a short-term acute hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Maryland State Medical License is required.
• Board Certification in cardiothoracic anesthesia/surgery related field.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• DEA registration and CSR compliance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide first assist in cardiothoracic procedures.
• Assist with endoscopic vein harvesting.
• Maintain patient care in a short-term acute hospital setting.
• Coordinate credentialing within ~45 days and documentation in EPIC.
