Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide day shift inpatient coverage for cardiac and thoracic surgery patients, with night call and rotation to High Point. Will work in a 40-hour, full-time schedule within the WFBMG University Group Practice: WFBMC Main - Surgery: Cardiovascular department in North Carolina.

Applicants must have an accredited NP Master’s program, current RN and NP licensure in NC, and board certification in NP specialty.

Qualifications

• Graduation from accredited Nurse Practitioner Master’s Program.
• Current applicable state Board of Nursing RN and NP license.
• Board certified in NP specialty.

Responsibilities

• Use medical decision-making to determine appropriate patient care plan.
• Collaborate with medical team for team-based care.
• Order and interpret laboratory studies and diagnostic procedures; explain procedures to patients.
• Perform department-specific procedures.
