Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to support a Cardiothoracic Surgery service in Arizona. The role covers 4 days per month from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with after-hours call and involves 10-15 CVICU/step-down patients along with 1-2 daily surgeries.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in cardiothoracic surgery with endoscopic vessel harvesting, an AZ APRN license, ACLS/BLS certification, and RN/NP First Assistant program completion. Recent CT surgery experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in cardiothoracic surgery with endoscopic vessel harvesting.
• Arizona APRN license active and unrestricted.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Board certification or certification eligible by NCCPA.
• RN/NP First Assistant Program completion.

Responsibilities

• Support surgeon and care team in CT surgery cases.
• Manage caseload of 10-15 CVICU/step-down patients daily and 1-2 surgeries.
• Operate 4 days per month 7:00–15:00 with follow-up call 15:00–07:00.
• Ensure timely medical records completion and patient care documentation.
