Job summary

Adelphi Medical Staffing seeks a Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens role in Flagstaff, AZ. The position covers 10-15 CVICU/step-down patients and supports 1-2 cardiothoracic surgeries daily, with a 4-day/month daytime schedule and on-call coverage.

Applicants must have an AZ license, NCCPA certification, DEA, BLS/ACLS, and 3+ years in CT surgery with EVH; duties include pacemaker/chest tube/IABP removals and EVH participation.

Qualifications

• EVH proficiency required.
• 3+ years in cardiothoracic surgery with EVH.
• Active AZ license required.
• DEA license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide CT Surgery coverage for 10-15 CVICU/step-down patients daily.
• Assist in 1-2 cardiothoracic surgeries per day.
• Perform temporary pacemaker removal, chest tube removal, IABP removal, and Aline placement.
• Take call from 3p–7a on coverage days.
• Utilize EVH expertise in surgical cases.
