Job summary

Medical Edge is seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgery Advanced Practice Provider in Myrtle Beach, SC. This full-time position involves assisting in surgeries and managing patient care.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery and proficiency in Endoscopic Vein Harvest. Excellent benefits are offered, including health coverage and paid malpractice.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Active South Carolina license or ability to obtain prior to start.
• Minimum of 2 years of Cardiothoracic Surgery experience.
• EVH and surgical first assist experience required.
• Experience managing routine cardiac and thoracic surgery patients.
• Strong understanding of post-operative care and outpatient follow-up.
• Minimally invasive surgery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• First assist in the operating room.
• Perform Endoscopic Vein Harvest (EVH).
• Daily inpatient rounding on pre- and post-operative patients.
• Outpatient clinic follow-up and post-operative care.
