University of Toledo Physicians in Toledo, OH seeks a Cardiothoracic Surgery Advanced Practice Provider to join a high-acuity team. You will collaborate with surgeons across the full surgical continuum, including pre-operative evaluation, intraoperative first assisting, and post-operative management in ICU and inpatient units.

Rounding, procedures, documentation, discharge planning, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams are integral.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program with a Master’s degree.
• State of Ohio Licensure as NP/APN or PA.
• National Certification as NP or PA.
• Eligible to obtain/maintain Prescribe/DEA.
• BLS certification.

Responsabilités

• Conduct pre-operative evaluations and medical histories.
• Educate patients and families on procedures and outcomes.
• Prepare patients for surgery and coordinate supplies.
