Job summary

Phoenixville Hospital - Tower Health in the Philadelphia area seeks a Full Time Experienced Surgical Physician Assistant to join our Cardiothoracic surgery team. The PA will perform consults, rounding, pre-op work, and post-op care, with in-office support and ICU/floor coverage during the day.

You will collaborate with cardiothoracic surgeons and a multidisciplinary team, maintain licensure, and use advanced knowledge of hemodynamics, ventilators, vasoactive drugs, and critical care to function

Qualifications

• Master's degree required for practice.
• PA license and board certification active.
• Must maintain required competencies and trainings.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-office support with first assist experience.
• Perform procedures: pacing wire removal, chest tube removal, wound care, direct admits, post-op care, surgical assistance.
• Handle post-op cases, emergencies, and consults.
• Maintain active Pennsylvania PA license and certifications.
