Job summary

Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA, is seeking a physician assistant to assist in the CVICU and provide first‑assist in the OR for their cardiothoracic surgery program.

Ideal candidates are board certified, with ICU experience; must be able to credential in Georgia and join a team of 3 CT surgeons and 4 APPs. Roles include ICU Monday–Friday with one weekend morning every month, or OR first‑assist and cardiology consults.

Qualifications

• Board Certified physician assistant with ICU or cardiothoracic surgery exposure.
• Ability to secure Georgia credentialing and start upon credentialing.
• Collaborate with a team of CT surgeons and APPs.
• ICU position Monday–Friday with occasional weekend morning rounds or perform OR first assist.
• Provide cardiology consultations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the CVICU and first assist in the OR.
• Provide cardiothoracic surgical support and patient care in the CT service.
