Job summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a Surgical Technologist for the Cardiothoracic OR on the Main Campus. You will perform scrub duties, assist with circulating responsibilities under the direction of a Registered Nurse, and support sterile technique in a high-acuity environment.

Minimum qualifications include an accredited Surgical Technology program or CST/TS-C, or relevant military program, or LPN license, plus BLS certification. On-site role with on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Accredited Surgical Technology program or CST/TS-C certification, or military program, or LPN license.
• BLS certification via AHA or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Perform scrub functions and assist in circulating under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
• Set up the sterile table and ensure supplies, drugs, and equipment are available.
• Assist in gowning/gloving and draping the surgical team; maintain aseptic conditions during procedures.
• Participate in intraoperative timeouts and coordinate with the circulator for specimen handling.
