Deborah health system seeks a cardiothoracic operating room physician assistant with CT surgery credentials. You will assist in bypass, valve repair/replacement, and related procedures, including endoscopic vein harvesting, in a busy OR.

The position requires 3–5 years PA CT surgery experience and current NCCPA certification. Work with two CT surgeons in perioperative care (pre-, intra-, post-op) on a full-time schedule, with a comprehensive benefits package including health care, PTO, 401(k),

Formación

• Minimum 3-5 years PA experience with CT surgery background.
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current NCCPA certification; BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• CDS and DEA licenses required for Physician Assistants; credentialing per Center procedures.
• Experience harvesting saphenous veins and radial arteries; OR assistance.

Responsabilidades

• Assist CT surgeon in bypass, valve repair/replacement, aneurysm repair and related procedures.
• Harvest saphenous veins and radial arteries; assist as first or second assistant in OR.
• Participate in perioperative care: pre-, intra-, and post-procedure.
• Maintain aseptic technique and provide patient care guidance as designated by physician.
