Job summary

Reston Hospital Center in Reston, VA, is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant to support its new adult CT surgery program. The ideal candidate is a certified PA with 2–5 years of CT surgery experience, first assisting and vein harvests, and the ability to obtain VA medical and DEA licenses.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $180,000–$250,000 per year with an incentive package and a 7 on/7 off schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved PA program.
• Must be board-certified.
• Ability to obtain a VA medical license, and DEA license.
• 2 to 5 years of experience assisting in CT surgery and vein harvests; minimum 1 year of CT surgery experience required.
• 7 on/7 off schedule.
• Strong clinical and communication skills, a team mentality, and innovative.
• Participate in call and helping support the launch of a new program.
• Getinge EVH System.
• Join a team of 2 FT physicians, 1 FT NP.
