This position requires managing critically ill cardiothoracic patients and performing complex procedures under a Cardiothoracic Surgeon. The successful candidate should be board-certified and have robust experience in cardiothoracic surgery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience with cardiothoracic surgical procedures.
• Proficiency in endoscopic vein harvest and preferred experience with endoscopic radial artery harvest.
• Strong theoretical background in critical care medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive management of critically ill cardiothoracic surgery patients.
• Maintain communication with the attending surgeon regarding updates.
• Perform necessary bedside procedures directed by the attending surgeon.

Skills

Board-certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

Current ACLS/BLS certification

Collaborative attitude and teamwork skills
