Job summary

SolutionHealth is seeking an Exercise Physiologist in our Cardiopulmonary Rehab department in Nashua to help patients safely regain strength and improve cardiovascular health through personalized programs.

Responsibilities include testing, leading sessions, home programs, and education on telemetry, monitoring, and risk reduction, with emphasis on evidence-based practice and timely documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Exercise Science is required.
• Current BCLS certification is required.
• Knowledge of nutrition and cardiac/pulmonary anatomy.
• Ability to assess BP, HR, and O2 saturation.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer 6-Minute Walk Tests and Get Up and Go assessments.
• Develop and lead individualized and group exercise sessions.
• Create home exercise programs tailored to patient needs.
• Educate patients on telemetry monitoring, pulse taking, and risk reduction.
• Schedule new patients and maintain documentation.
• Respond to emergencies within scope of practice.
• Deliver community education programs and apply evidence-based practices.
