Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Veterinary tech degree preferred.
• CVT/RVT/LVT certification preferred; VTS desirable.
• Minimum 2 years in veterinary field as a Veterinary Technician.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in training new team members and veterinary students.
• Collaborate with veterinary staff to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Provide continuous education and participate in regular team meetings.
• Follow hospital leadership structure, policies, and code of conduct.
• Represent the hospital with courtesy and professionalism.
• Adhere to work schedule and be on the floor at shift start.
• Maintain confidentiality; follow safety protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Specialty Technician Supervisor.
