CVCA Leesburg is seeking a veterinary assistant for our cardiology-focused team in Leesburg, VA. You will support cardiologists and technicians with exams, diagnostics, and patient care in a fast-paced specialty environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, veterinary assistant experience, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Travel to secondary locations may be required, and you will be part of a supportive network focused on professional growth and exceptional patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Veterinary assistant experience is required; cardiology/specialty experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to travel to secondary locations as needed.
• Calm, efficient approach for fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on clinical support to cardiologists and technicians.
• Assist with ECGs, Holter monitors, and data collection for cardiac diagnostics.
• Prepare patients for diagnostics and procedures and assist with restraint.
• Provide compassionate patient care and maintain a clean facility.
• Discharge patients, review treatment plans, and assist with scheduling.
