Qualifications

• Veterinary assistant experience required; cardiology or specialty environment a plus.
• Calm, efficient approach in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and travel to secondary locations as needed.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist cardiologists and technicians with patient exams, triage, and procedures, including venipuncture and radiographs.
• Assist with specialized cardiac diagnostics: ECGs, Holter monitors, and data collection.
• Prepare patients for diagnostics and procedures; assist with positioning, restraint, and instrument maintenance.
• Provide compassionate care and ensure patient comfort, maintaining a clean, organized facility.
• Discharge patients, review treatment plans and medications, and assist with client communication and scheduling.
• Maintain medical records, prescriptions, and invoices; support room turnover and inventory.
