Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center is seeking support personnel for the Acute Care Cardiology Unit at the Burnet Campus. This part-time role offers a 24-hour weekly schedule with a 0.6 FTE, rotating days or nights.

Primary responsibilities include clerical tasks, patient data integrity, and coordinating information systems to support clinical operations. Starting pay is based on experience and equity, with an expected starting pay range of $17.49–$20.99 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Clerical Duties - Operates and maintains unit information systems, ensures medical record integrity, timely admissions/discharges, and accurate patient data; manages forms, faxes, mail, and supplies within budget.
• Environmental Management - Maintains a safe, accessible environment; monitors front desk and unit traffic; enforces visitor policies and HIPAA compliance; coordinates with staff to ensure patient flow.
• Systems Management - Identifies system problems and uses strategies for resolution; responds to alarms; reviews staffing information.
• Communication - Demonstrates CARES behaviors; ensures timely, accurate, secure information handling per HIPAA and policies; supports non-clinical info requests from families.
