Job summary

Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is seeking a part-time nurse on the Acute Care Cardiology Unit (ACCU). This 0.75 FTE role supports care for patients from newborns to adults with complex cardiac conditions under rotating shifts.

You will work within the Heart Institute, following protocols and care plans, and participate in safety and compliance initiatives. Orientation may transition to full-time; opportunities for professional growth and multidisciplinary teamwork are available.

Qualifications

• Associate/Diploma prepared RN with 2+ years of experience.
• If no BSN/MSN, enroll in BSN/MSN within 1 year and complete within 5 years.
• Active Ohio RN License; foreign grads must have license validated.

Responsibilities

• Sustain regulatory compliance with CMS standards and safety policies.
• Monitor and improve safety practices; communicate concerns to leadership.
• Document care plans, actions, and patient/family outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team in shared decision making.
