Job summary

Saint Thomas Hospital for Specialty Surgery is seeking a Telemetry Technician for day shift to support cardiac monitoring and patient care. You will observe telemetry, document findings, and communicate changes to the nursing team while assisting visitors and patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, relevant certifications (CNA/PCT/MA, Monitor Tech, and BLS), with about one year of hospital experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CNA, PCT or MA certification or equivalent.
• Monitor Tech Certification or demonstrated dysrhythmia training with competencies.
• BLS required.
• Minimum one year hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records and monitor patient telemetry.
• Observe monitors and promptly report rhythm changes to the team.
• Interface with visitors, patients, families and physicians in person and by phone.
