• Orders, collects, and interprets laboratory and other tests.
• Develops and implements comprehensive patient care plans.
• Ensures complete documentation of patient assessments and plans.
• Educates and mentors graduate nursing students and new advance practice providers.
• Acts as an expert/resource to nursing staff in the specialty area.
• Participates in committees or task forces to improve patient care.
