Job summary

Capital Medical Group is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Stress Lab and ambulatory cardiology practice in the Washington, DC area. You will work closely with the Lead Stress Technician, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

The ideal candidate will have ASN with a BSN preferred, BLS, ACLS eligibility, and experience in cardiology or stress testing.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• ASN required
• BSN preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Stress Technician with daily Stress Lab operations and patient flow.
• Prepare and assess patients prior to cardiac stress testing procedures.
• Monitor patients during stress testing and report significant findings to the provider.
• Administer medications and injections in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards of practice.
• Document patient encounters, assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately within the electronic medical record.
• Coordinate follow-up care, referrals, and specialty appointments.
• Respond to provider messages and patient communications promptly and professionally.
