Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health’s Cardiology Service Line Lead/General Cardiologist position in Exeter, CA seeks a full-time Cardiologist to oversee daily operations and overall service line performance. The role combines leadership with practicing cardiology in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

The successful candidate will be Board-Certified or Board-Eligible, with an unrestricted license and DEA. The position includes leadership responsibilities and clinical duties, reporting to the CMO

Qualifications

• MD/DO with unrestricted medical license to practice in NH or CA (as applicable) and current DEA certificate.
• Demonstrated leadership skills in cardiology and program leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and align strategies to maximize quality, growth, efficiency, and patient experience within the cardiology service line.
• Ensure timely delivery of cardiology services and implement policies to improve quality and outcomes.
• Lead and develop clinical staff and collaborate with hospital leadership to manage expenses and capital needs.
• Promote patient access and service recovery, and drive continuous improvement across the department.
• Maintain relationships with community partners and medical staff while advancing cardiology services.
