Job summary
The Ohio State University’s Division of Cardiovascular Medicine seeks a Physician or Physician Scientist to serve as Section Director of Preventive and Cardiometabolic Cardiology. Qualifications
- Board certification/eligibility in cardiology.
- US-accredited cardiovascular medicine fellowship completed.
- Advanced training in preventive cardiology or lipidology.
- Minimum of 5–10 years of clinical cardiology experience.
- Eligible for an Ohio medical license.
- Clinical or translational research experience preferred.
- Qualified for an academic appointment at The Ohio State University with commensurate rank and salary.
Responsibilities
- Expand and direct a multidisciplinary preventive and cardiometabolic program.
- Oversee clinical operations and develop innovative care models.
- Advance education, training, and scholarly activity in the division.
- Provide patient-centered leadership and strategic direction.
