OhioHealth in Columbus, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Cardiology team. The role supports Cardiac Imaging, Electrophysiology, and Interventional Cardiology patients, with a mix of inpatient and outpatient rounds and a dynamic daily census of around 30 patients.

You will collaborate with cardiology physicians, nurses, and providers to ensure comprehensive care. Expect a structured orientation and hands-on training to prepare you for rounding on both inpatient and outpatient care

Qualifikationen

• Associate's Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
• Current Ohio RN license.
• BLS certification required.

Aufgaben

• Obtain and maintain an accurate patient census; collaborate with referring providers and physicians to ensure timely patient care.
• Support and assist rounding process under the supervision of the rounding physician.
• Review medical records, labs, and other patient data for rounding providers to aid assessment and plan of care; retrieve outside records if needed.
• Assist with discharge process and scheduling testing and follow-up as needed.
• May function as a scribe per hospital bylaws as directed by the physician.
• Serve as triage RN with incoming patient and referring provider calls.
