Job summary

OhioHealth Corporation in Riverside, CA seeks a rounding registered nurse for Heart & Vascular to join a collaborative cardiology team. The role includes inpatient rounds and coordinating care plans for patients transitioning to outpatient care.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current RN license in the State of Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Obtains and maintains an accurate patient census; collaborates with providers to determine patients to be seen.
• Supports and assists rounding process under supervision of the rounding physician.
• Reviews medical records, labs and data for rounding providers to aid in assessment, diagnosis and plan of care.
• Assists with discharge process and scheduling testing and follow up.
• May function as a scribe as directed by the physician.
• Acts as triage RN with incoming patient and referring provider calls.
