Qualifications

• Associates degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• New York State Nursing License required upon hire; ACLS and BLS certification required.
• 0–1 years experience; 2–4 years preferred.
• Proficient in EHR and practice management systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician and staff with daily patient care coordination.
• Act as liaison between patients, staff and physicians to ensure flow.
• Take and document vitals; prepare for visits and triage when needed.
• Administer injections and manage medication lists in EHR.
• Schedule appointments and process referrals and orders in PMS/EHR.
• Maintain universal safety precautions and accurate charting.
