Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years RN experience; cardiology specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs as liaison between cardiothoracic physicians, nurses, patients, families and other treating disciplines.
• Educates and instructs patients/families on continuity of care, procedures and/or medications.
• Provide clinical in-basket oversight and coverage via Epic.
• Complete prior authorizations, FMLA and disability paperwork.
