Qualifications

• 3 years working as a Registered Nurse in a clinical practice environment.
• 2+ years of Cardiology experience preferred.
• Experience with EMR, eClinicalworks preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Active CO RN License.

Responsibilities

• Observe and record patient behaviors; Collect patient health history as needed.
• Communicate results and make assessments with patients and implement care plans as indicated by the care team.
• Explain procedures and patient prep, allergy prep, and teaching of post care when needed.
• Make patient assessments and determine when care escalation is needed.
• Read and interpret patient information, making treatment decisions when appropriate.
• Administer medication, change wound dressings and care for other treatment options.
• Complete records by recording patient examination, treatment, and test results in EMR.
