Job summary

Sidney Regional Medical Center in Sidney, Nebraska, is seeking a confident, compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality outpatient cardiology care as part of our Cardiology team.

The Cardiology RN delivers comprehensive nursing care, conducts patient assessments, and supports cardiovascular testing and follow-up care in collaboration with cardiology providers. RN licensure in Nebraska and BLS/ACLS/PALS are required or pursued via SRMC.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• At least one year of clinical RN experience preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required or must be obtained via SRMC training.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality patient care with the cardiopulmonary team.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to support coordinated care.
• Collect and document vital patient information and care needs in the EHR.
• Assist with cardiac testing and related procedures under provider orders.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and billing in the EHR.
• Ensure supplies and equipment are ready for scheduled clinics and procedures.
