Job summary

Community Health Systems, Inc. is seeking an RN for our clinic in Indiana. The role focuses on high-quality patient care, routine nursing duties, and collaboration with healthcare providers.

You will administer treatments, conduct diagnostic testing, and educate patients while maintaining HIPAA standards. The schedule is typically Monday–Friday, with no weekends or on-call requirements, supporting work-life balance.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of nursing experience in a clinical or outpatient setting required.
• RN - State Licensure required
• BLS Certification required
• ACLS preferred

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients during the intake process and documents symptoms, medical history, and medications in the electronic medical record.
• Administers medications and treatments, including vaccines, and ensures safety protocols are followed.
• Performs diagnostic testing such as lab draws and EKGs and assists providers during procedures.
• Triages patient concerns via telephone or in-person, providing guidance or escalation as needed.
• Communicates with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure a smooth care experience.
• Delivers patient education on disease processes, treatment plans, and medication management.
• Maintains a sanitized clinical environment and adheres to infection control policies.
• Coordinates follow-up care by reviewing test results and messages by day end.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to implement care plans and advocate for patients.
• Responds to emergencies and participates in quality improvement initiatives.
