Job summary

Community Health Network in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for Cardiac Surgical Progressive Care (SPCU) to care for patients after open heart and vascular surgeries.

You will join a fast-paced cardiovascular unit known for excellent outcomes and strong teamwork. The role requires Indiana RN licensure, compassion, clear communication, and the ability to collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and support staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of NLN, CCNE, ACEN, or NLN CNEA accredited nursing program.
• Licensed RN in Indiana and listed in NLC.
• Two years acute care nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients post-surgical (open heart and vascular).
• Work in a fast-paced cardiovascular unit with strong team relationships.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff for optimal outcomes.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
Demonstration of performance consistent with professional standards of practice, care, the Nurse Practice Act and the mission and goals of Community Health Network; demonstration of skills in collaboration, delegation, negotiation and management of resource

• Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
• At least 2 years of acute care experience preferred.

• EPIC experience is a plus.
