Job summary

MU Health Care is seeking a compassionate RN to join our Cardiology team on the Nights shift with every other weekend rotation, on-site at University Hospital in Columbia, MO. Base pay ranges from $34.46 to $51.02 per hour with additional night and weekend differentials.

Responsibilities include pain assessment, medication management, patient education, and collaborative care with the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Missouri RN licensure required or multi-state RN per compact rules.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and nursing needs, set goals and plan discharge.
• Assess and reassess patient pain and symptoms with appropriate scales.
• Educate patients and families about medications and care.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing supervisors to ensure patient-centered care.
• Maintain hospital nursing standards and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
