Job summary
Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Illinois to provide patient-centered care across the care continuum. You will perform comprehensive assessments, document outcomes, and collaborate with the health care team to develop realistic goals and discharge plans.
The role requires an active RN license in Illinois, a BSN or ADN with commitment to complete BSN within three years, and BLS. Strong communication, collaboration, and analytical skills are essential for delivering
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree required.
- Current State of Illinois RN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Analytical abilities for patient assessment and planning.
- ADN acceptable with commitment to obtain BSN within three years.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessment and document findings.
- Communicate changes in patient condition promptly.
- Collaborate with care team to plan discharge and referrals.
- Ensure medication reconciliation and patient education at discharge.
- Lead unit safety initiatives and participate in quality improvement.
