Responsibilities

• Directs the healthcare team as charge nurse and mentor to less experienced staff.
• Reviews charts prior to appointments; ensures lab work and results are available to providers.
• Utilizes EMR to document care, monitor vital signs, and coordinate discharge planning.
• Responds to emergencies, maintains safety, and adheres to policies within budget and quality standards.
