Job summary

You will oversee budgeting, staffing and performance, mentor staff, collaborate with physicians and leadership, and drive safe, patient-centered experiences while meeting regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing degree from an accredited school; Masters Degree preferred.
• Current State of Texas license or compact license to practice professional nursing.
• Professional Certification in clinical area or management within one year of hire preferred.
• Five years of progressive clinical experience; leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day operations for assigned patient care departments, maintaining 24/7 operational responsibility.
• Reviews and approves hires, manages staffing levels, and coordinates staff training with education.
• Collaborates with service line leaders to set department goals and ensure policy alignment.
• Monitors patient care activities and promotes a safe, high-quality patient experience.
• Contributes to budgeting, forecasting and cost control to meet financial targets.
