Prime Healthcare is hiring a Cardiology RN at St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. The role focuses on direct patient care for cardiovascular conditions, including procedures like nuclear stress testing and stress echocardiography.

Days shifts, 10-hour shifts, four days per week, no weekends or holidays. Eligible candidates receive a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Required are active RN licensure, BLS and ACLS certifications, with telemetry/Cath Lab or ER experience preferred and a BSN

Qualificações

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintained.
• ACLS certification upon hire and maintained.
• Telemetry, Cath Lab or ER experience highly preferred.
• BSN highly preferred.
• Strong IV start skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patients' cardiac health through physical exams, review of histories, and monitoring vital signs.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret ECGs to identify irregularities or distress.
• Educate patients and families about cardiac conditions, medications, lifestyle changes, and self-care.
• Respond to cardiac emergencies by initiating CPR and ACLS protocols.
• Maintain efficient workflow in a busy clinical setting to ensure on-time scheduling.
