Prime Healthcare is seeking a Stepdown Registered Nurse at St Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. You will provide high-acuity care for patients recovering from cardiac procedures, with shifts from 7:00am to 7:00pm.

The role requires an active RN license, BLS, ACLS within 30 days, and acute care experience. Benefits include a sign-on bonus and comprehensive coverage/options for health, retirement, and education.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state.
• “BLS on hire and maintain current.”
• ACLs within 30 days of hire and kept current.
• Acute care hospital experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Monitor cardiac status, vitals, and telemetry to detect changes.
• Administer prescribed medications including IV and cardiac meds.
• Conduct physical assessments and review histories to evaluate symptoms.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment plans and lifestyle changes.
• Respond quickly to emergencies with CPR and life-saving interventions.
