Job summary

Savista is seeking a Cardiology Pro Fee Coder to join our remote team in the USA. You will review physician documentation and assign CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS codes for a variety of cardiology services, ensuring compliant coding for billing and reimbursement.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of professional fee coding experience, cardiology coding proficiency, and AHIMA/AAPC credentials. You’ll work independently in a professional fee coding environment with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent professional fee coding experience is required.
• Active AHIMA or AAPC credential (CPC/CCS-P/CCS/CCA/RHIT/RHIA/COC or related).
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding.
• Ability to work independently and maintain high accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Code cardiology services including caths, EP, pacemaker/ICD and imaging procedures.
• Select CPT/ICD-10-CM codes and E/M levels based on documentation.
• Review records to ensure diagnoses/procedures are fully supported.
• Apply coding guidelines and communicate with providers for clarification.
• Maintain productivity and quality standards while protecting confidentiality.
