Job summary

Carilion Clinic is seeking an RN Practice Supervisor for Cardiology in Roanoke. This role provides clinical and operational leadership to practice-based teams, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient operations.

You will supervise staff, participate in hiring and onboarding, and promote a positive work environment while coordinating services with physicians and leadership to meet performance goals.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a registered nurse program.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience with demonstrated leadership experience.
• Current Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• AHA BLS-HCP required; ACLS and PALS may be required based on assigned work area.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and operational leadership for practice-based teams, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care and efficient operations.
• Develop and manage staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage and resource utilization.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, evaluations, and corrective action processes; coach, mentor, and manage performance.
• Promote a positive work environment and model professional behaviors; facilitate conflict resolution and address customer service concerns.
• Monitor patient satisfaction and quality outcomes; ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
