Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Minimum 2 years of experience.
• Current Texas PA license.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.
• Current NCCPA certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive physical exams and documents patient histories.
• Orders, collects, interprets, and evaluates labs and diagnostic tests.
• Prescribes medications and develops treatment plans under supervising physician.
• Counsels patients about medications, nutrition, and health promotion.
• Maintains records of treatment plans and outcomes; initiates referrals when needed.
• Manages patients in outpatient and inpatient settings, with specialty focus.
