Job description

MUSC Health, in collaboration with Tidelands, is recruiting skilled, BC/BE, General Cardiologists to meet community needs! Join a well-established, employed group comprising two interventional cardiologists, one general invasive cardiologist, one cardiac imaging specialist, and five advanced practice providers. Currently, there are four outpatient practices with plans to expand to a fifth. The service area includes Georgetown and Horry County, SC, the second fastest-growing region in the country, with a growing population of retirees and seniors.

Practice Details:

• Two hospitals: Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital & Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital, with plans to add Tidelands Health Carolina Bays Hospital in the future.
• Four outpatient practices located in Georgetown, Pawleys Island (main hub), Murrells Inlet, and Market Common (Myrtle Beach), with plans to expand to a fifth in North Myrtle Beach.
• Three RCIS-certified technicians.
• Special device clinic for pacemaker and cardiac implant patients at Pawleys Island.
• One Cath Lab and one Special Procedures Room.
• CT Cardiac Imaging capabilities.
• Collaboration with MUSC Health to expand community access to cardiology care.

Position Details:

• Full-time; inpatient/outpatient
• Currently, an equal share of call at 1:4, with future plans for 1:5 with interventional backup.
