Cardiology Opportunity in Conway, SC
Location: Conway, SC, approximately 10 miles from Myrtle Beach with a population of 325,000.
Position Details:
- Full-time, permanent position.
- Dedicated RNC for each physician.
- Certificate of Need (CON) approved for PCI / Interventional procedures.
- Renovation underway for a second Cath Lab.
- Medical center has a transfer volume of 120 STEMIs and 50 CABGs per year.
- Leverage Duke Health Network for STEMI calls at DHN facility in Laurinburg, NC.
- 4-6+ weeks out on new patient appointments.
- Globes Celsius robot available.
- Hospitalist group manages all admissions.
- Stress tests and echocardiograms performed in the Cardiac Care Clinic.
- Cath Lab handles approximately 500 cases annually.
- Average of 24 patients per day.
- Clinic operates 4.5 days/week with a half-day administrative time.
- Established APPs see both clinic and hospital follow-up patients.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base salary aligned with MGMA median, with 1-3 years' experience.
- Relocation allowance for travel and location expenses.
- Continuing Medical Education (CME): 5 days & $3,000 annually.
