Job description

Internal Medicine (Cardiology) is in search of a Full-Time Physician (MD/DO) due to FMLA.

We are looking for a provider to start on 07/28/2025 through 10/17/2025.

Shifts available: None (total shifts needed: 18)

Privileges available: Full Privileges

Accepted Credentials: Physician (MD/DO)

Board Certification: Cardiology

Certifications: Current KY, DEA, BLS, ATLS

Skills and Experience: General cardiology experience including nuclear stress tests, stress echoes, reading EKGs; pacemaker experience is a plus.

Patient Volume:

• Clinic: 15-16 patients per day (less at London office as it is new)
• Hospital: 12-22 patients

Will admit and do rounding as needed when in hospital. Interventionalist onsite 24/7.

Support Staff:

• Clinic: ACPs, MAs
• Hospital: RNs, MAs

Will not perform procedures in clinic; responsibilities include follow-up and new patient appointments.

Preferred Schedule: Seeking 1 provider for a full-time schedule over 4 months, including:

• Monday to Monday clinic and call 1 week per month
• Monday/Wednesday: hospital or clinic 8-5 with call during off week
• Tuesday: clinic 8-5 with call during working hours
• Thursday: clinic 8-5 with call during working hours
• Friday: hospital or clinic 8-5 with call during working hours

This schedule will be discussed during the interview. While we prefer one provider, we may consider more than one if they can provide at least 2 weeks back-to-back, including one week as a Monday-to-Monday clinic with call as per schedule.
