Job summary

Hartford HealthCare's Hartford Hospital seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist specialized in PET/CT for Cardiology. You will perform nuclear medicine and PET/CT studies, ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance while delivering diagnostic images to guide treatment plans.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program, BLS certification, and ARRT/NMTCB certifications with CT advanced credentials. Prior PET/CT/SPECT/CT experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
CNMT/CT or RT(N)(CT) ARRT Advanced certification required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
2 years of PET/CT and SPECT/CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT procedures in the hospital according to NRC regulations.
Maintains and operates cameras to map radioactive drugs to create diagnostic images.
Positions patients and prepares radiopharmaceuticals per protocols.
