BJC Medical Group in Belleville, Illinois is seeking a full-time Patient Services Representative to be the first point of contact in the front office. You will handle patient check-ins and schedule appointments while maintaining accurate financial records.

This role offers a day shift, 40 hours per week, and benefits. No call, no weekends, no holidays. Previous office experience preferred.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years of experience in a front-office or patient service role.

Mansioni

• Handles telephone calls from patients and staff; triage as needed.
• Performs receptionist duties with attention to detail and professionalism.
• Verifies health insurance information and educates patients on the applicable regulations; collects payments.
• Data entry of service charges and assignment of diagnostic codes.
• Coordinates information with Central Billing Office to ensure charges are captured.
